IVI 5.56 stripper clips and loaders

You can't beat striplula loader for 223. I use 8 rd stripper clips and striplula for stanag mags. work pretty good and it leaves 3 rds in striplula if you need to top up 5 rd mags. This loader works good with any type of stripper clips or even without them you can push up to ten rds in to the mag effortlessly.
IVI stuff is mostly gov issue and may not be readily sold lately.

It is all turned in and a range declaration is given that you don't have any of those items in your possession when you leave the range or training event.

So, things you find for sale were not meant to be released.

Having said that, a member of the public who buys it won't be sent to some gulag, but the person selling it, if caught, will get some extra attention.

I believe IVI does not actually make them, I think they are unbranded thermold chargers. They are available commercially. I have seen them for sale at a few different places. I think Epps had both the clips and the loader as well.

Actual CF issue clips and charger are a no go however.

Keep an eye out in the EE or try gun shows.
I never knew one troop who didn't keep at least one loader in his webbing for range or field work, so there must be tons of them around.

I remember seeing several triwall's full of them at some kinda warehouse. I think they were going for $5 for a 5 gallon bucket full.
I grabbed a couple handfull's and still have some around here somewhere

Yes they get collected after range but are sold as scrap plastic on gcsurplus, same as the brass.

Now you hear "or parts there of" being added after the old declaration that we are used to. Used as a catch all I imagine.
God forbid a guy keeps a safety ring from the grenade range or a stripper clip.

Thanks for the good info everyone. My understanding is that at one point or another IVI ammo was available for purchase by civilians. In my searches, I came across various forum posts, including by Americans, that they have/had C77 ammo on stripper clips. I haven't been able to find the loaders for sale, anywhere.

I have come across the stripper clips at my range, as it is rented by the RCMP/various law enforcement agencies for training/practice. But I have never been able to find the damn loaders, hah. My understanding is that they are held in higherregard than their USGI equivalents.

The American ones are smaller and fit into your pocket easier, but I personally prefer our larger ones as they line the bullets up to the mag better and are re-usable forever, no chance of bending them.
