I’ve heard the story dozens of times from WW2 when Canadian troops ran Sten ammo in a Luger after short while the Luger was buggered. But the Browning high power used the ammo just fine.
My question is was there SMG specific ammo (Sten) during WW2 and is the CDN MK 1 headstand a SMG round or also meant for pistol use. I recently shot DA65 and it was snappy
