Ivor Johnson 1911 Opinion?

Hey all.

Canada Ammo has these in stock and one caught my eye.

Any opinions on them? Cast frame.......

Might be my piss of a Liberal purchase.

Iver Johnson 1911's are SAM 1911's that the Iver Johnson company re-brands and modifies and puts their own name on.
they even state as much right on their website.

Our 1911's are assembled in the Philippines by Shooters Arms Manufacturing.

$800 to $1050 for a SAM that you can get for half that price from Wolverine??????
id go directly to the horses mouth and get a SAM from Wolverine or one from Seraphim Armory (if they ever got some in).

i believe one of the things the Iver's does to the SAM's once they get them is put their own finish on the gun which would explain the high gloss bluing that you dont see with most SAMs.

Agreed. The time to piss off a Liberal is when the CPC are in power. The best way to do it now, is to recruit new members to the shooting sports, and get their RPAL.
