Ivory grips...

I am thinking of buying an antique hand-gun from the USA that has ivory grips. Are there any different rules as to importing ivory? I've heard you can't export anything ivory to the US, but I think we can import.

Ivory I think you mean you were importing one with old bone grips .LOL or faux ivory

Forbidden to import ivory to canada unless it is mamoth ivory.
If you are lucky they won't even open the package but if they do...say by by to your gun and illegal ivory import charges !

So long as the the seller and I agree they are old bone grips, we should be good...
