Not new news but I finally got to spend a bit more time looking at it. It is basically a giant upper bored for both a left and a right ejecting bolt mated to a dedicated polymer lower with 2 separate triggers, so it won't considered to be a FA firearm. Heavy, clumsy and probably not very practical ( unless you have the arms of Arnold), and shooting it involves pressing two side by side triggers. On the other hand, it is enough of an item of curiosity the factory claimed that they have 3000 units in back order. They are looking to make this in the US to get the cost down.

So, can you fire each side individually? If so, that should make it Canadian legal because it would only fire one round per trigger pull, unlike that double barreled .45 which only has one trigger and therefore fires more than one round per trigger pull; this would make it much like a side by side shotgun which has two triggers, which, of course, you can pull simultaneously....
The question would then turn to magazine capacity.

that double barrel arsenal 1911 is legal and sold in canada, just fyi

Really? I was under the impression that it was prohibited because it does fire more than one bullet per pull of the trigger? That and the rcmp lab saw some holding one and smiling....
