IWI baby eagle 40s&w with slide mounted safety = dumb

Any one else notice this:
CZ style slide = small grip surface to start with
IWI baby eagle slide mounted safety = this thing is weird and hard to grip.

Why even have grip serrations on the slide if you will never touch them cuz the stupid safety is the first thing you touch?

People should have stopped designing handguns after 1911

I sold my IWI because of this idiot feature and the trigger top stop pinching my finger pretty bad

I love my BE in 9mm, Accurate, Solid, low felt recoil.........

The only problem I have with it is my thumb (in a two, hand thumbs forward hold) tends to hit the de-cocker when I'm shooting.......

I try to stay away from any pistols with slide mounted safeties. Which is a shame since I think the Beretta 92 is a great pistol otherwise except for the position of its safety. I find that it is way too easy to inadvertently activate the safety when racking the slide after a mag change.

And that's why I only use G model Berettas. You can also train to use the slingshot method of racking the slide to avoid setting the safety. And use the slide release as its meant to be used from slide lock.
