Agree with this it probably is user error, but even while actively focusing on not riding the charging handle it happens with a full mag. Doesn't happen with any other semi. Would class that as overly sensitive to user input if that's the case. Great fun otherwise.

If you are running an IA for dead trigger, aka press mag in again, recharge and fire again, this maybe an issue because you will end up with more malfunction.

Tried L5 AWM magazine (5/30) with restricted Carmel

Magazine does not seat in closed bolt with 5 rounds (pinned too tight - not abnormal)

Strips and Feeds 5th round (and every other round) without failure.

Both from bolt release and from manual manipulation.

Repeated test with Magpul Gen II mag. Identical results.

Hope you’ve got yours sorted out…

Remove the magazine floor plate and check if the magazine spring is bound up on the rivet, especially if the pin is in the side of the mag instead of the spine.
