IWI CARMEL18.6” Canadian non restricted rifle CSR18

The military version handguard looks cooler

LOL at all the "ugly" "fat" "fishy" poo poos. Jesus H.... it's another black semi we can actually own!!! A month ago, most here were flexing their sks mods and Turk-sploding cope rifles! Now there are two black semi-auto rifles made by competent manufacturers and some here DGAF?!?!

OMG....

NS!! KEEP IT UP!! (y)(y)(y)

After going thru 3 different Tavor barrels and only achieving 4 to 5 MOA even with match grade ammo IWI is dead to me

That could have to do with the quick change barrels the Tavor has. The original military variation of the Carmel had a quick change barrel and it had accuracy issues as well. The latest Carmel did away with the quick change barrel and accuracy improved.

The Carmel has seemingly pretty good accuracy at about 1.5MOA on average and according to various online tests. My Tavor never achieved more than 2MOA before it was tragically lost in a boating accident with my pal Mike from Canmore.

LOL Bartok tends to not like anything unless he gets his hands on it first from his friends so he can stroke his ego off doing a silly review where he slaps the same scope/laser/light/ect from another gun onto the next for his photo op.

IWI is well proven where as Makasi....... go look up brigade manufacturing reviews on google you will see they are pretty much like NEA/BCL but located in Florida. Terrible reviews and then a bunch of cooked 5 star reviews to try and hide the truth.

Based on that alone I'll put my money on the IWI when they show up in stores.

Nope. Too ugly to be proud of, and way too fat through the midsection. I'll stick with the far more interesting blend of influences and the all-metal construction of the Makasi Rifle. YMMV....
This will appeal to those who missed out on previously available and reliable 556 semis. In commie canadia, beggars can't be choosers (except criminals of course, their market is still flourishing)
