All steel, CZ clones of sorts..

any personal experiences and opinions, comparisons from CGNers?

while i admire the CZ, and will probably eventually buy one, that's really not the questions i'm asking.

internet search leads me to believe that AR-24 is finished even better than CZ. (or maybe not.. conflicting stories.)

The jericho is the best kept secret in 9mm/40 and rivals pistols well above it's $599 price tag.

yeah, have had the jericho and lots of cz pistols. Just have cz's now and will never sell em, unpess its for a newer cz pistol version.

I really do like that AR-24 compact tho, stupid canadian laws.

Bruce Gray of GGI used to ran an AR-24 at some point when competing because he could not run a CZ reliably (Not my words, please don't flame me).

I really like the design and it's a well made pistol. It is true though that CZ has great support in Canada; might be worth to check if the price difference is significant.

Jericho >>> VALUE for Money. Nice trigger out of the box. Accessories are harder to find. Finish is not as good unless you get the chrome.

Armalite >>> looks like another CZ clone. I've heard some good things about this pistol but I have not seen or handled one.

CZXX >>> built like a tank, but needs some tweaks. Lots of accessories.

Small stuff breaks on any of these guns. For that reason alone I would want to get one which has good to OK parts support. So unless the Armalite happens to be proven to work with the small parts found in the CZ by being that close a clone I'd be very reluctant to jump in.

been very happy with my Jericho. The only thing I dont like is the finish cause it will scuff pretty easily. Otherwise, its a budget pistol that shoots like a shadow(if not better)

I don't even mind the slide safety so much cause I havent used it in a couple years :p

Having said that, when I took my holster course I used my glock. Much better if you need to use the safety.
