Hello,

AFAIK IWI makes a model of Jericho with the frame-mounted safety. Has it ever been imported to Canada? Any of your dealers stock it?

Thanks!

IIRC older versions of the Baby Eagle had these. The original non-rail versions, and a number of with rail versions (One was for sale here for quite a while, at a modest :) premium) were all with frame safeties.

I know a lot of folk say that the frame safety is the best, but I own a slide safety version and it is an awesome pistol. So like most things, its a personal preference thing really?

Candocad.

Thanks for your reply. BTW, according to this: http://iwi.net/jericho-pistols/ there are still frame safety models in production, namely Jericho F (which is Canada-legal).

When will the new Desert Eagle 3 hit the Canadian Market? They are available in 9mm, 40, and 45 cal in both Steel Frame and Polymer. They are no longer called Jericho. Called Desert Eagles.

I believe those are made by Bul Ltd. and imported into the U.S. by Magnum Research. I could be wrong but I think you're not likely to see those here aside from ones people bring in from the U.S.

Keep an eye on the EE. They come up every couple of months for usually more than a new one will cost. But they are out there. I sold my slide safety model years ago because I found it challenging to rack the slide quickly and effectively - and I'm the biggest 92fs fan you'll meet. But if you're willing to pay $700 they're out there. I myself wouldn't pay more than six, and only if it was rail-less.
