ArmRus has the Izhmech IZH-35M for 500 bux, Can anyone say anything to disuade me from buying one?
Any faults/flaws/potential death-traps (kidding) that should discourage me?

Unless Rj_pellerin sells me his OSP first I'm going to be calling those fine folks on the 25th.
 
Splatter, what will you be using the gun for? The OSP is a great pistol... but in 22short, it's only good for plinking really...

As for the IZH35, except for the fact that you'll probably need to fiddle around with the magazine lips to get the correct spacing and the grip (as with all Russian target pistol) is oversize... they are very good target pistol.

The girlfriend let me shoot hers a few time and I like it.

So you think polar bear hunting with it would be inadvisable??

Seriously, how much less accurate would the OSP be than the GSP? And I know .22 short is a little more money.

Anyway, every day that goes by looks more like the IZH-35M.
 
This evening I came to withdraw my offer on the OSP, RJ had answered.
So no IZH for me, yet.

I'm not too disapointed.


Now I need to keep my eyes peeled for a GSP or GSP-C conversion kit.

Sure would like a unit in .32 s&w !!
