IZH-94 Combination Gun

I just bought an over and under IZH-94 Baikal 12 guage over 30-06. It's still in the box and has not even been assembled yet. I think it looks pretty awesome but I have to try it out at the range and see how it shoots. It seems like a real versatile package for Northern Ontario. For hunting moose calf during bird season or deer. I have one of those adapters that allows you to shoot the 32 Auto out of the 30-06 barrel while chambering a slug or I could use bird shot and a full power rifle cartridge or whatever the situation demands. I'm hoping to get out to the range with it next Saturday and see what it will do. There's nothing quite like the feeling of opening up a gun box and staring at the gun. That moment right before you pick it up for the very first time...that's a special moment. I can hardly wait!

I'll let you know how she shoots.

i just bought one a few months ago shot it for the first time last week actually shoots pretty decent about a 1 1/2 at a 100 better than i expected it to shoot so im happy it well serve it's purpose for deer and grouse

Wrong.

Shoot the duck first so the moose will turn its head and look in your direction from the sound. Then shoot the brain. Zero meat wastage.
