Izhevsk 1940 SVT-40

Awesome !!!

first guy can produce 2 sniper svts, the guy behind him is able to produce 20 sniper svts. Question: How many sniper svts will be produced today judging by the number of people in line? :)

Go Bubba go! Haha, I'm tempted to do it one of mine but I'm on the fence since I got the mounting rail and scope that Corwin arms sells. It looks like it belongs on it when I dry fit it all last week.

Well, get a few beers downrange first. and buy the Scope... Then You don't have a choice...

The beer takes the edge off.... lol. The guys on Gunboards that pay 1400+ for these will have a heart attack... lol....

This will do me just fine, and I didnt have to pay an exorbitant amount of money for a real one....

Shot her for the first time yesterday, took 4 round to zero and i'm actually quite surprised how much more fun SVT's are to shoot when scoped.

She cycles on 1.2 and runs like a champ. only issues I had was with my repo mag. Last round would stovepipe once in a while. my original Mag ran 100% I put 300 rounds thru her in about an hour.. lol..

So I have a question about the repo scopes, once the scope is zeroed can i take the turret caps off and put them back to 0 ? Do I just take off the small screws on top of teh caps ?

Reproduction scopes should set scales same as originals (but there are different styles of new production, so can't guarantee in all cases): loosen two screws on top of the turret, then the scale ring becomes mobile as the friction is relieved. Hold turret to maintain zero, align scale to desired position. Tighten back down; no small parts to drop.

Enjoy the immense fun of the SNIPER SVT!
