Izzy SKS owners

Russian SKS's go for about a half what they fetched five years ago. An exception is 1949's which were non-existent and priced accordingly and are now just scarce (I have four), not rare, but still only a $400 gun.

You'll have to live a very long time for them to double in value IMO.

only the very best ones are worth being kept as safe queens. there are so many SKS's around that the refurbs, bruised up ones, frankenpinned, etc will never really appreciate.

so in other words, unless an Izzy is unissued, it is a shooter just like the rest.
