Izzy vs Tula sks

Hey all. I just picked up an Izhevsk sks today and I was wondering just how much rarer they are than Tulas, and also if they are worth more. Thanks

I always heard Izzy's were worth a bit more and are a bit nicer Rifle but i have personally only owned the Tulas...I sure others with more experience will chime in.

I own one of each, and I find the Izzy is nicer finished.

Own both too and I dont see any differance in my best Tula 1956 or Izh 1954

I still have to remove some cosmoline before I can make any comparisons. It's a 1953 Izzy, which I hear is the rarest year, however it is a refurb and not original

each sks varies in condition and finish, i have had izzy's and tula's sks rifles. But i always favored the tula. Some tend to be nicer than others. Thats why if we have a nice example of one we tend to favor the company more.

The Izzy wont shoot more accurately, on the finition, i guess they had a very good QC, they are just beautiful even unrefurbished ... JP.

I have heard numbers between 200 and 2000 Tulas for every Izzy.

No difference in fuction, they just end to have a little better bluing and fit and finish in most cases.

I have 6 Izzies, 10 Tulas
