J R Carbine 9mm

"Utilizes standard M4/AR15 furniture & trigger components; patented ejection & extraction features for reliability;"
we will see. looks sweet, and not a bad price

I started a thread a while back on these, and someone said there were rumors that there may be a dealer looking into importing them.

I wouldn't mind having a look at one, but I'm a little wary until I hear more about it. I remember reading a thread on arfcom last month where a guy reviewed his and said that it was a jam-o-matic.

I like too, but it will likely fall under AR platform- restricted. They did that to the Rem R15 VTR.

I would hope not; it doesn't take AR mags, doesn't have an AR compatible upper or lower, etc.... but just the mere mention of any AR styling or minor compatibility in the advertising literature may be enough for the vultures to latch onto and deem this one as a variant...

I would love to see this come out as a non restricted at a reasonable price!

Hey does anybody have any info about this carbine?

Ive never heard of the company but all i know it's a 19inch barrel and the store said they are coming in as non-restricted firearms.

Yeah it was Ellwoodepps. I was in there over the weekend and asked if anybody sells an AR 15 in 9mm and he referred me to the J R carbine.

They said it would be around 750-850$ and they are coming in August, and they are classified non-restricted.

They said they can reduce the barrel length but those rifles will be restricted.

Epps, eh? Interesting... Thanks! I guess we'll have to wait a bit and see if they come in.

when I see it arrive in canada as non restricted I would gladly PURCHASE one. till then it is all rumor.
