Jacked or Copperwash

I'm assuming you mean plated bullets versus typical FMJ. If thats what you are asking, a typical FMJ is open on the bottom whereas a plated bullet is copper on all sides and bottom with no seems anywhere
 
id take a loose one and try cutting or crushing it with side cutters or pliers, or run a coarse file over it it will show you how thick the copper is

EDIT:
some FMJ will be a total case sealing in the lead
 
Jackets are thick copper or steel washed with copper, plated bullets are thinly copper plated on all sides... If you can scratch thru the copper with a knife chances are its washed.
 
The definitive test would be to cut one open. I cut open a plated 40 cal bullet and the plating is so thin, you pretty much can't see it from a cross sectional view. It's thinner than paper.

same thing as what moose said. copper much thicker in FMJ (so it separates when cut), versus an electrolytic "coating" of a few thousands of an inch. You should almost be able to scrape it off TMC or copper wash.
