JAE-100 stock - fit an M305?

I came across this website (http://www.jallenenterprises.com/) at M-14 forums, and was wondering if this stock would fit the M305? Is it available in Canada?

The M305 action will fit that stock.

For the shorter Norc Retaining pin, the easiest way to modify this stock would be to use some double sided tape and stick in a spacer.The self adhesive window stripping foam would work as well.

Replacing the pin with a longer one is the hardest way of doing it.

Not really.

A Sage stock runs around $600.00 U.S. and this is similar in the way the action is seated in the stock.

Consider that a McMillan M2A stock will run you pretty much the same cash plus it need to be bedded.

You get and ajustable LOP and adjustable cheekrest.

Bedding is not required.Both these stocks are similar in idea to a AICS chassis.

I'd love to see that stock built for a Savage long action!

<<edit>> Now that I've been to their website and have seen the stock in profile, I've changed my mind. that grip looks ungainly and buttstock/cheekpiece arangement looks uncomfortable.

No one carries this stock in Canada.

IIRC, They are only being sold through the one business in the U.S.

You could ask Questar if they could import one for you, or you could order it yourself and do your own import/ export paperwork.

600USD ain't that bad considering that an AICS is over a grand.

Maybe some kind of 'group order' via Questar, or another importer could be appropriate if CGN administration agrees, because I'm pretty sure that MANY users would like to have one of these. (Heck, we save almost a grand on our M305s over a SA M1A, why not blow the savings on a cool looking stock :))
 
Would be very nice if a Canadian company would decide to manufacture that kind of stock for the M-305 through Marstar. It would be even nicer if they would also offer it for a Savage 270 bolt action !!!:D
