JAE-700 Owners

Mine is currently being produced and should arrive in a few months time. I am super excited for this stock, should be amazing. What things are you interested about?

Cool!

1 or 2 weeks more for mine.

Just want to ask the owners on some details for proper install.

May I ask what colour scheme you went with? I played it safe and went with all black accessories and the dark green every where else. Clean and timeless, or so I hope haha.

Titanium Grey / Swat Black color combination.

I do hope it will look great on the SS 5R that's going on it. ...... crossing fingers. :(

I will also be dropping a SS 5r into my JAE-700. That said, my SS might be getting coated in the future if I don't like the way it looks. You option out your stock? I ended up calling Lisa at JAE and she convinced me to basically go with every conceivable option money could buy.

Oh No :) ..... stayed with the basic stock with just a few optional accessories added.

Got a call from Lisa as well and we discussed how I'm going to use the rifle. Ended up with a stock in the mid price range.

She's very helpful ..... thumbs up to her!

Sucker....

=)

Can't wait to see the JAE though.

Just got a call from Wolverine and they no longer import for JAE 100 GEN 3. They cancelled my order

Had you given them and deposit and did you talk to Lisa at JAE about your order? What reason did they give you? I am going to call JAE and Wolverine tomorrow. If my order gets cancelled I am going to be rather upset.

JAE is still backlogged, they are producing as many stocks as they can but the wait for the 700 series stock is at least 6 months the last I talked to Lisa.

I can't find anything on Wolverines website about JAE products! :(

Last I talked to Lisa they managed to get my order in with a batch that was currently being produced. I really, really hope that said batch makes it to Canada. If these stocks don't ever get sold in Canada they are going to be extra rare.

Wolverine is still listed on the JAE website as the Canadian distributor.

I just got off the phone with the crew over at Wolverine and got some answers. If you have an order placed with Wolverine and your stock made it into the current production batch being shipped to Canada you have nothing to worry about. Your stock should (main word, should) be arriving sometime in spring as projected. However, going forward Wolverine will not be importing JAE stocks anymore. From a business stand point Wolverine has decided to no longer import and sell JAE stocks due to their inability to keep up with demand. I was told Wolverine doesn't like to promise customers a delivery date (as they are told by JAE) only to have product show up 1, 2 or even 8 months later (after the original date of promised delivery). With that said, going forward JAE will be distributing stocks in Canada on their own. No time line for this process was expressed to me. I assume JAE will have to jump through a few hoops to get an export licence etc. So you will call JAE directly and place your order. Unfortunately, the time from order to delivery is actually closer to one year at the moment due to high demand and an inability for JAE to create stocks any faster.

That is crappy to hear guys.

I got my stock on the very first shipment of stocks into Canada as I, along with several others actually placed our orders before JAE was actually producing the JAE700 Stock.

I waited about 2.5 years actually. It wasn't a straight 2.5 month wait though. I was continuously told "only 2 more months" oh wait... "only 3 more months" Oh "Next week!" nope, "4 more months" it went on and on as JAE had delays in getting fixtures made, etc.

I wasn't in a rush so it didn't bother me but some people are less patient than others I guess.

On the plus side though, once JAE gets set up to self export then you won't have to pay Wolverine's mark up. Their service is great however I paid way more than someone in the states had to pay.

In the long run, as much as I love Wolverine, you will be better off if you can order direct.

I guess this will answer everything. I ordered mine just this December 2013 and was promised for a 6 month arrival, which was okay with me. After the cancellation I did more research, US customer are waiting for an average of 1 year for their stocks. As much as I love to have the stock for my M1A, Ill just back down or maybe have friends from the US who are still active in the service to order one for me, fingers cross. Ohh and I put 1k for deposits.
