Just wanted to drop a line to say how good the service of Armtac has been. I recently decided I wanted a JAE stock for my LRB. Called JAE and of course they have a backlog of more than 24 months... Just my luck. However, since I had mentionned that I wanted to put my LRB in a JAE, Lisa (I think that is her name) suggested I reach out to LRB directly as they had some stock on order and they were pending reception. Probably ordered a few months, years back...

Called LRB and it was confirmed the they had 3 stocks coming in but also that they didn't want to handle export.

I had in the past on numerous occasion purchased from Armtac (SEI trigger group, NM guide, tools and the rest). So I reached out the Armtac, explained the situation and althought they mentionned they wouldn't normally do this, they offered me to take the stock from LRB and charge me a small importing fee. Armtac arranged everything with LRB that day. Then it was the waiting game.

Well, the process started in February of 2015, and I received today my JAE stock in OD. I didn't get to choose the color the color ;-). I guess that this can be considered a short wait by JAE standards. I really looking forward on putting my rifle in the stock and going out to shoot.

This is great customer service from Armtac and it goes way beyond what most people would have done.

Thanks a lot. I post pictures once I get the rig completed.

Will first find time to put together and yes a range report would be in order for such a nice setup. I'm hoping it will as much fun as I'm dreaming about it... Will have to buy good ammo. The federal white box is good but I'm sure wont max the rig's potential.

Did you get the barrel tension screw at the front of the stock?

Make sure that your front band does not rub on the sides of the channel. That's critical for accuracy.
If it's not rotated just right you may have to relieve it a bit, so it doesn't hang up.

Make sure you have no burrs on that lug at the bottom of the barrel band. Polish it smooth on the inside contact surfaces with fine sand paper so it can find home without resistance between shots. Grease it too.

Also you'll need to be real careful with those wedges that hold the receiver in. I told JAE that it should be a dovetail rather than that squared off wedge gizmo. You can jam it up if you don't make sure they are in the slot before you tighten the screws.

You're going to like it, but there's no hunting with that sucker, unless you want to watch bean fields.

Here's mine.

This flyer is from not polishing the lug on the barrel band. It's a 10 shot group.

Pleased you got the stock - looks great and interested to know that you got good service. Personally, I had atrocious non-service from Armtac which is why I went direct to LRB for my M25. LRB are awesome to deal with.

new businesses often face challenges that inevitably see them fail some customers expectations, but Armtac is one that I think a great many of us have had dealings with and can offer the benefit of the doubt. can't speak for your experience, only for those who have ended up thanking me for sending them there ;)

hanks for the info. Very useful when i'll assemble it. Can't wait to see if I'll get that good of a result.

Mine has the barrel tensioner (did get to choose if I didn't want to wait 2 + years).

Have a standard profile barrel (criterion).

What ammo are you using.? I personally don't have time to reload.
