After much anticipation the JAE 700 stock has arrived!

Just got it in the door, but my first impression is that this is a beautifully manufactured stock.

It tips the scale at 6lbs 8oz. The magazine well is fully adjustable and feeds my long loaded 243 rounds perfectly. Something that Remington factory bottom metal would not do.

It will benefit from a proper bedding job as i find the action moves around the same as in Jerrys "proper bedding video." However will shoot it prior to doing so to see how it shoots.

Now just awaiting my barrel from Sean (aka "The Barrel Pimp")

Some quick photos from my point and shoot.

Bastard. I was hoping to be the first to post pics! :D

Mine is still in transit.. Sitting in Richmond right now waiting to cross over.. Should arrive tomorrow or the next day.

I opted for the OD with black and plus and minus a couple options. Also going with the atlas/accushot setup too. Great minds! :D

Will also show mine off when it finally arrives 2+years and waiting.

Look forward to h

I got really lucky. I ordered mine in September and JAE bumped me up to the first shipment to Wolverine.

Can't wait to see yours!

looks awesome! im in line for the second batch for my .338 also in the $1600 price range. side rails and adapters all add up pretty fast

I get mine today after work!

I'll post some pics as soon as I can.

I also didn't go with the side rails, but did get the bottom grip swell and the long bottom rail.

I'm still a little nervous as to it fitting my Stiller and Krieger heavy varmint barrel, but if it fits a surgeon I think I should be ok.

I'm just afraid after having to do a bunch of extra inletting for the same set up to fit into my McMillan A5.

I got it!!!!

Here she is:

I opted for some different options. I went for the full bottom rail but not the 2" side rails. I got the bottom grip which is really nice. I think those are the only two difference between ours besides colour.

The stock fits perfectly on my Stiller and Heavy Varmint 28" BBL

I love it.

As the build sits now:

Stiller Tac-30 Action with matching 20moa Base
Krieger 5R Heavy Varmint 28" chambered in 260AI
Rifle Basix Trigger 8oz
Farrel Rings
Sighton 8-32x56
Atlas bipod with cleat feet and accushot monopod
Painted the BBl black with duracoat

I might order the 2" side rails if I can find a ACI mount that will work vertical,

Looks awesome!! I almost wish I had of gone with the palm rest as well. I would love to hear a comparison of how your rifle shoots between the JAE and your previous.

I have the same barrel on order! You know what they say about great minds!
