Hey there chaps
Anyone have any experience with the Pro-mag 50 round drum magazine on a Ruger SR22?
I picked one up used on the EE a few months back and the damn thing jams with every kind of ammo I have tried, from el-cheapo CCI Bulk lead RN up through Federal bulk, good federal .22, copper washed RN, mini-mag washed RN, Stingers, Remington you name it.
Does anyone who has one of these have any ammo recommendations? The bloke who sold it to me didn't include the manual (I guess he didn't have it) so I don't really know what the manufacturer recommends (they don't answer my e-mails).
Any advice? And yes I already have a couple of Butler Creek 25 round bananas and yes they work flawlessly with everything. And yes they are a helluva lot easier to load as well.
The Pro-mag does have the advantage that it looks absolutely wicked cool on the SR22.
Cheers
