ok ever since i changed barrels and a few internal pieces on my 10/22's ive been getting stove piping and such.....

im running an krinker 8.5'' heavy barrel, and that vol extractor.... has anyone else gotten problems with either pieces?

Adjustable Iron sights (weaver mount)

im looking for a pair of front and rear adjustable sights for my ruger 10/22.... im running the evo stock with the weaver rail that runs across the entire top....

i have considered the troy buis pair, but at 250+ dollars is a little pricey.

any other suggestions?

Is that with all ammo? Have you tried other ammo? How many rounds since last cleaning?

I had the same issue with my 10/22...when it started to get dirty all the weaker ammo would stovepipe...

pretty much all ammo, totaly random... another thing is i cannot for the life of me get my aluminum tac inc 25 round mags to work ever since i changed to aftermarket barrels

Did you replace the extractor spring when you put in the VQ extractor?

If so, try putting the factory extractor spring back in, it helped in my case.

Also, did the FTEs happen when using a high cap magazine? I have heard that these mags need to be broken in first before they feed reliably.

One thing that can cause stovepipes is the hammer spring assembly. When you disassemble the rifle make sure to note the slot on the retaining washer. This slot mustpoint upwards.
Found that in a search. That's all I can help with.
