Ok here is mine I ordered a case of 7.62x25 so i told my wife "i have 2280 rnds of this ammo i NEED a gun to shoot it...."

so here is my #'s matching (except the mags not # stamped electro penciled)

1943 dated Russian TT33


bore is mint i dont think this was shot much if at all it is a refurb but barrel #'s match frame and slide not forced match

There aren;t any laminate stocked Finns with the possible exception of a VERY rare captured m38 in a wartime laminate beech stock, no proof that even these exist though as so few carbines were captured

But for $445 I don't care. Now time to sink another $400 or 500 into her. Now, what do I prefer. 45 colt, 45-75 or 45-90??? I think that I must buy another cheepie one before they are all gone.

If you go .45 Colt, you can always ream it out to .45-70 later

It's on a par or better than 8x57 apparently.
And for the record, I pretty sure 45 Colt is .451" cal (pistol bore) not 458 like 45-70 and 45-90, so it's not a simple chamber ream to the bigger cartridges.
If you must go for one of those 45 cal cartridges I'd go big.....say 45-100 to use room the Rolling Block provides and to give decent performance with low pressure loads.

New to me 91-30

Picked up a nice Izhevsk dated 1939, it's SA marked with a nice bore (not counterbored either) at the Montreal Gun show today. I'm quite pleased with the price too. Hey, I get to use the dancing banana...

That depends on when the .45 Colt was made. WAY back they had .454 or .457 bores, but modern ones are .451.

Anyhow, it's easy to order a blank in .457 and then just load the .45 Colt brass to fit the tube, just don;t use factory ammo
