Jard J180 eta?

Finally a 180 that doesn't look disgusting lol.

Thats what i was saying then the wkek and cope mcr shills came after me with pitchforks. Now this gun looks purty on the outside but if its ugly on the inside then theres no point.

This has been a very serious project of ours over the past 2.5 years. We have done a lot of back and forth with Jard Inc. as to making sure the rifle is reliable and also very important accurate!
Learning from past mistakes on the older generation models. We believe this J180 will be one of the top ones out there using the design. Also having the ability to customize with a lot of aftermarket parts is very exciting.

Is Sylvestre planning to sell the J180 dust cover to go with the build kit? https://jardinc.com/dust-cover-kit

any chance well see a .22 in a shorter than 18.5" barrel setup?

otherwise very excited. great option for us.

Are there plans to bring in the 6.5Gren J180s or only the .223/5.56 ?

Even if they don't bring in the factory version if the Grendel rifles, I suspect Sylvestre will be happy to make you one from a build kit. They have already indicated they are working on locally built rifles in 7.62x39 mm.

Question from the black rifle forum for Jard/Sylvestre; with the exhaust gases directly impinging upon the BCG, are there any issues with the charging handle connected to the BCG heating up to an uncomfortable level during extended firing?

My own secondary question is, how easy is the cleaning procedure for the rifle, and where do you need to focus on most, particularly if firing corrosive ammo?

Yes, we plan on bring in all calibers .223 Wylde, .204 Ruger will be in the first few loads and 350 legend, 6.5 grendel, 6mm ARC will follow shortly after. These three calibers require caliber specific AR15 style magazines.
