JARD J48 rifle

There are a couple of threads on this gun in the black rifle section, haven't heard anything in a while, cool to see it pop up and looking forward to reviews.

About double that of the SU16 though , in either case, nice to see something new on the market.
I had a SU 16, by the time I added a pistol grip , stock and an aluminum hand guard , I was $1300 in. So for an extra $160 , I'll give it a try.

Su16 is garbage though, I hated mine. It's not even in the same catagory until you get an AR stock and forend and at that point your around $1200-$1300

To say it has potential is reasonable. To say its better is rediculous when no one here even knows if its anymore reliable than a SU-16 or any more accurate then a blunderbuss.

Not to mentionbit is the least aesthetically pleasing rifle I have ever seen in my opinion.... lol

My comment was about the price

I've had an SU 16 and a XCR-l keymod and both were close in the looks department but neither would win a beauty contest. Both were equaly reliable. Seems a lot of people are more concerned with the looks. Anyway I'll be able to compare all 3 , soon.:) it's got a free float AR type barrel , that should help with accuracy , shouldn't it?

I actually preffered the XCR-L Keymod I had to most of my rifles in terms of both looks and balance. Certainly beats out the ACR if your not looking at the accuracy aspect...

I had zero issues with the SU 16 , but 2 1/2 Moa , not really for me. The XCR was nice, but heavy 11 lbs with scope etc , and $3000 ! So maybe this will fill the NR void , for me. I'm wishing for at least 1 Moa... But you know what they say about wishing.

Still better than a tavor or xcr

Price is subjective to the rifle. I would say the price for a Tavor is better as it is a quality built rifle that will last a life time and does what it is designed to do.

Whereas the Jard is at this point in time a untested, unknown, ugly turd of a rifle. The price may be cheaper for it. But it might not be worth more then a shiny nickle and some belly button lint.

This rifle is described as having a DI operating system. Is it true direct impingement, like the AG42B, or is it a gas expansion system and bleed-off system as in the AR? There don't seem to be any vent holes in the bolt carrier.
Couldn't find any drawings or photos of a disassembled rifle.
