Jaydog goes hunting: Wild boar with a knife. (Pig down! and finally some pics)

Thank you for the link: It appears that Importations of edible meat and meat products not exceeding 20 kg (44 lb) per person that are identifiable as originating
in the United States are exempt from the requirements in this section
suggests that more can be brought home, but then might have to meet the requirements otherwise exempted for the <44lbs.

Being a crapshoot is probably correct: Reminded me of importing an old truck a month after the passport requirement at land crossings. My father and I went in the middle of the night to meet the trucker across the river and to avoid traffic... customs on both sides were all squirrely over the truck and that we weren't aware of the export documents necessary at the American side that neither thought to ask me for a passport I didn't have, and all other government papers/plastic was in my wallet which I had forgotten to bring. Anyway, the American border was good about it and said that "next time" you need to file this a couple days in advance. The Canadian side were all bent out of shape that numbers were a little awry on a 65 year old truck that is a restoration project.

It just occured to me that a relative who works at the CBSA would know about all the red tape. Man do I feel old... forgetting things happening too often.

Hey Jaydog. I went on a knife hunt with the same crew a couple years back. It still stands as the hunt of a lifetime. My only regret is I was back in Kona last Feb and didn't do it again. Next time I won't miss out. Beautiful hog great pics. Brings back so many memories.
Oh and the coffee!!!!
Cheers
