JC Higgins Model 20 - Recoil Pad Replacements?

Hello. I have an old JC Higgins Model 20-12 Gauge. I've restored the original recoil pad to like new, but I think I want something with more give and squish. The original is still quite firm on my shoulder. Does anyone know of an aftermarket direct fit (not grind to fit) that I just screw in?

If I measure the back of the spacer for dimensions, they are exactly:

LENGTH: 5"
WIDE: 1" & 9/16 OR 1.5625"

Has anyone ever replaced their stock JC Higgins recoil pad with an aftermarket drop in replacement that fits these measurements — without grinding/shaping?

Thanks struff. Do you have any idea what I should order in terms of size? Just slightly larger than the current butt pad's dimensions?

Any recommendations for maximum recoil reduction - comfort?

Thanks guys. Brought my shotgun to the gunsmith. He had a pachmayr decelerator in stock, grind to fit. Not a cheap solution. You get what you pay for I guess.
