JC Higgins model 29

So I cam across are pair of these.
Does anyone know much about them?
I know they were made for Sears.

Not my rifle but the same.

The rifle is a 17 shot automatic made by High Standard and is probably from the mid/late 50's. If you google it you will find all kinds of info.

I have one of those. Great little gun. When I was a teenager I put a couple bricks through it and decided that the best way to clean it was to take it apart. 20 years later it is still apart. There's a lot of springs and little bit in them.

A J.C. Higgins(Not a maker. Just a Sears brand name) Model 29 is a High Standard Model 583.85.79/78 or 2900. Sometimes seen with no model number too.
