The blueing is very even and matted but looks slightly different in color in the picture, but I assure you "in person" its perfectly even colored and texture....the middle picture came out a little dirty due too a unclean lens .The pistols apear a little dusty due too the nice liberal routine oiling that they get,dang fuzzies (From the patches but that easily wipes off) .
