Jerhico 941 adjustable rear sight options?

Does anyone know where to find an adjustable rear sight for the newer variations of the IWI Jerhico 941? I find no matter what I do my POI is a few inches low- and it gets worse farther out ie at 25 yards.

I have tried different bullet weights ie. 115/ 124 gr 9mm. Although I realize with the combat 3 dot sights you are supposed to "cover" the target (which is not my preference for aiming, but is likely how this gun is set-up at the factory) I find that this also does not get me to point of aim.

I think LPA does/used to make a rear sight for the Jericho but they do not respond to my emails. The local places in Calgary around me do not seem able to supply them.

It took LPA something in the realm of 6 months to wake up and process my CZ75 PRE-B order. Not sure what their problem is.
I did get the sight in the end and it is very good quality. Just took a very long time.

Ordered mine from www.precisionsights.com which appears to be defunked now.

It was like the order went into a back hole unanswered to for months.

I see Brownels stock PLA sights. Have you checked there?

Lol - believe it or not I sent them an email a month ago as well asking what model would work for my gun, also no response. Maybe I should not have fessed up to being Canadian. Anyone else have ideas for vendors?

Gnmontey was your jerhico hitting a bit low as well? Also what LPA model number did you install?

The LPA sight I have is for a PRE-B CZ75.
The 75 I had was equipped with adjustable sights to begin with. Was looking for something with a lower profile (aka CZ85).
The LPA didn't solve that dilemma.

I have not yet changed the rear sight. Shooting my CZ Shadow now most of the time.
 
If not LPA who else makes a quality adjustable rear for the Jericho that is obtainable? I mean the gun is fantastic, I am just a bit ocd when it comes to hitting POA.

On closer inspection I realize the sahal sights are not adjustable. Me bad.

I did stumble across this info though:

I was so excited I had to let people know. So I have a Steel Frame Jericho built after 2009 model and finding any parts in Canada is impossible. I was searching for a rear adjustable sight. I have seen some listed on Ebay but nobody ships to Canada. I found a company called LPA. After some research found a supplier, so I thought. They are no longer in business go figure. Anyway after more research measuring the dovetail and angle I found the Crosman 2300T pellet gun which strangely has a sight that resembles the one I need. I found a pellet gun supplier took the 80.00 Canadian chance ordered it. BAM it fits, no filing no milling. Hammer out the old one, hammer in the new one. If anyone is looking for a rear adjustable sight it is a LPA MIM Rear adjustable made exclusively for the Crosman 2300T part# 2300-010. For my American friends it can be purchased from Crosman for 39.00 US it is metal

LPA lists Fusion Firearms in the US as being a CDN distributor. Fusion lists Wanstalls as being a distributor.

Maybe contact Wanstalls and see if they could bring something in for you.

Wow! Good deal. What size of dovetail on that pistol? Maybe it is a common size used by some other pistols.
 
P'bob, I know you've asked about an adjustable sight. But consider that the fixed sights on the gun ARE adjustable in a way. If you know you'll shoot a specific sort of ammo then you can adjust the fixed sights using a file to dress off the top of the front sight or the top of the rear sight to bring the elevation into a match with the POI. And of course any sight installed on a dovetail cross groove is adjustable for windage with a punch and hammer.

In your case it is shooting low. So you want to shorten the front sight to bring up the POI.

Granted this option isn't for everyone. But it is possible and not really that hard. The trick is to sneak up on the final setting so you don't need to go shopping for a metal stretcher :)

Keep in mind too that a lot of the adjustable rear sights are quite a lot taller than the fixed sight they are replacing. And that means you often need to install a matching taller front sight to allow the limited adjustment range of the rear sight to work for you. LPA seems to sit flatter than many other adjustables. But it would still be worth checking out the new blade height to see if you need a taller front at the same time.
 
Some good leads - I am going to check with wanstalls for now and see what develops. Can't really shave the front sight as with 3 dot sights my eye would still attempt to align the dots....I did think of that previously and it probably would work on some sight pictures.
