My rpal just got issued todayw:h:

I've pretty much made up my mind that my first pistol is going to be a Jericho 941/Baby Eagle, not sure what cal. yet

I've read a couple of posts on the net that say that the gun is really bad at chewing up brass when ejected. Anybody have any issues with their Jericho's???
 
I've got one in a 40, very accurate with an excellent trigger pull.
A few of the brass were mangled upon ejection, but after going through a 100 rd. break-in period, all is fine now.

Good to hear, it's getting harder to find a steel model right now, so I'm not to picky about cal.
 
I love mine. I bought in 9mm and never regretted it. Cheap ammo makes me happy.

I could see buying a .45 too one day.

Definitely look for the steel body though. The polymer frames aren't nearly as nice feeling.

There was a limited number of the steel 941 with 3 mags and holster kit @ the old $599 price. I just got one store's last after emailing most sponsors and others. Most stores can order them in but closer to the new $699 price.
 
Had one in 9mm, and absolutely loved it. Trigger was amazing and it felt great in the hands. That said the safety and slide release both bothered me, in addition to the SA/DA. Can't comment on the brass mind you, don't reload so I never thought to check.
 
Just picked mine up today .
My boss gave me a hour off today ,just so i could go pick it up .
Mines is a 9mm. all steel beauti, cant wait to fire it off a few thousand times
I cant seam to get it out of my hand,I might have to sleep with it tonight .
I managed to pry it out of my hand long enough to take a few pics so i can stare at them tomorrow wile im at work....

Yeah,al's is another typical suporting dealer that doesn't keep their site updated. Called them and they were out of stock and said he could get one in for $690. (Not in stock for $635 as listed.)

I've had to go to non supporting dealers a few times lately because of the same thing. They seem to list what they actually have, not what they "can get".

Got to try out mine tonight. Trigger is so inviting and is a pleasure to shoot
shot 120 Hot reloads ,as hot as they were the gun is very controlable .heers a video of my son shooting with me tonight.

i got mine a year and half ago no issues at all easy to strip and clean i find it accurate and i like the double action trigger pull i dont reload but if you do the jericho mine in 40 really likes to launch brass
 
9mm was my second handgun. Loved & just sold it to get the brushed chrome model. Only complaint is the black finish isn't very forgiving. Keep yours eyes opened on EE as they do show up on there periodically.
 
I have the 40 It's a great gun. As for the brass. I have never seen any brass damaged. I bought it new and all it shoots is what i roll. Lead and copper plated. If it's your first gun buy a 9mm. cheap to shoot. Then save up and buy a nice 22LR. Welcome to the shooting sport. After the two guns get some room on that credit card and go nutz on firearms like the rest of us.
