Jericho 941 vs. CZ Shadow What would you buy???

Looking for opinions from shooters who have owned both as to which is the best bang for the buck. I've owned a 941 but not a Shadow, and the Jericho is a few hundred dollars cheaper on average. Is the Shadow worth the extra cost? Is one proven more reliable than the other, etc? Hit me with some feedback please!!
 
Quite frankly they are both awesome pistols........... Shot both and want both, do love the feel of the jerecho, feels built to last, but then again they both do... Going to root for the jerecho, just my opinion..... Either way ...enjoy

I used to own a Jericho in 9mm and it was extremely reliable with every type of ammo I fed it. I literally did not have a single malfunction with it, and I shot 115 gr-147gr...full metal jacket to hollow points. Flawless! Never tried lead or reloads though. Groups nicely and low recoil due to all steel frame

Very nice ergo's and truly is built like a tank. I kick myself in the a$$ for selling it and often have thought about buying another.

The Shadow seems like a great pistol as well but I havent had the opportunity to fire or handle one
 
ive shot the cz shadow. out of all the pistols ive shot im the most accurate with it.
i probably put about 600 rounds through it over the span of 3 trips to the range (it wasnt even mine)
really like it, kicking myself for not getting it when flhertys had it for $150 off about 3 months ago...

never tried a jericho, but i was thinking about it...also just missed a sale on them last week...
 
I'm looking for a good price on a Jericho, know of any stellar deals out there?
 
Thanks for all the info so far. And yes, if I have done my homework correctly, the Shadow (of course), Jericho, Tanfoglio, etc are all CZ 75 clones and high quality clones at that. So really I was just wondering if there was anything dramatically different with the the Shadow that justified the extra cost because I loved my Jericho when I had it.

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THERE IS A .22 CONVERSION KIT THAT FITS THE JERICHO AND/OR THE OTHER CZ CLONES??

I will also say... The CZ shadow is an easier resale if you decide to sell it in the future.

Some guys like to buy and sell so they always have something new. If you are one of those guys, then the shadow is the better choice..
 
Assuming that you will actually get into the shooting games such as IPSC or IDPA at some point you'll find it easier to get holsters and mags for the CZ products more easily than the Jericho. Or if we can find out what the trick is to make the CZ mags work in the Jericho you'd simply be faced with holster issue.

Then again there is a healthy aftermarket for CZ guns regardless of which model you buy compared to the Jericho. Clones they may be. But that doesn't mean that they are so exactly matched that all the parts are totally interchangable between brands.

Having said that the Jericho IS a very nice gun in every possible way. They truly are a bargain. So if an inexpensive but nice plinker is what you're after then go for one.

But if you expect you'll get into competition at some point and want less hassles finding the support gear and eventually replacement parts I'd say stick with CZ.

Very sound advice I would say, thanks. And I DID get a partial answer to the mag compatibility issue we were discussing recently.......

Recently sold my Jericho, and the aftermarket 10/32 CZ 75 mags arrived just before I did. Figured either way I would have them even if I did wind up replacing the Jericho with the Shadow. Anyway, I popped the CZ 75 mags right into my Jericho, and the lock up was PERFECT!! Mag release popped them out smooth and I sure could not pull them out when locked into the magwell. So fittment is perfect, but sadly since I sold the Jericho, I couldn't get to the range to test the feeding of the CZ mags but early results are very promising...... :)
