Jericho 941F is exceptionally accurate

I had one a few years ago that was fed a steady diet of cast wheel weight bullets. Never had an issue with leading. Regular cleaning every few hundred rounds and it was the same as my pistols with regular rifling.

Like a Shadow it's just one of those guns that most people just naturally shoot well.

I received my second surplus Jericho last week from Elwood Epps. Not as nice cosmetically as my first one. Shows significant more wear, but still shoots like a dream. I am a Jericho convert. I like the heft of an all steel frame and the frame mount safety suits my shooting style. Anyone receiving one from the latest batch be ready for a through cleaning session before going to the range…. Mine was filthy.

Guys,
This is a good thread. I have read on other forums, the very same statements made regarding the 941.

For those that shoot the 941, can you please elaborate on the bullet type, weight and ogive design that works in your 941? Are they fussy feeders? Are there bullet weights and designs to steer clear of when reloading for the Jericho?

Do you shoot cast [ successfully ] through your polygonal barrel? If so, what Brinell Hardness?

I have an early 941 coming, but it is not in my hands yet.

Thanks for your insight and thots.

maybe a bit late, but hey..

so, I have been mostly shooting my 226 and meaning to get out the jericho again

I got my 941F used-like-new off the EE for an excellent price.. honestly I forget exactly but it was the pistol (maybe 200-300 rounds previous owner said I think first owner) with a few jericho mags sig mag for like 750 or 800.. yeah you read that right lol

honestly it shoots really flat it has more weight towards the muzzle than any other pistol ive ever held. see other metal pistols they kinda trim the frame toward the front but the jericho is chonk
you definitely feel the chonk and angles at the front of the frame when you hold it. honestly I think if you wanted to use it has an impromptu hammer for a couple nails if you didnt hit the muzzle it would be fine..

I have shot mostly 115 and 124 grain CCI blazer, as well 124gr S&B , 115 and 124 gr PMC. probably 1000~ between (its not my main girl)
I find the difference in most guns, between 115 and 124 negligible, but I prefer 115 for cost and those minor differences in recoil. with the jericho, there is little difference in either and I think you would be fine with any 147
it definitely does not group high. I put a rubber hogue grip on mine which makes a difference for sure. fits very naturally and points very naturally as well in my medium sized hands
I want to train with it more but I have a lot of confidence in the 226 decocker and strikers just give me more warm and fuzzies vs hammer back safety on like jericho, or even thumbing the hammer down - which maybe I will take a break from the sig and try that a bit more..
I think if I had hindsight to maybe get a decocker model baby eagle I would be very interested in trying as well, tho I find slide safeties janky at times and if anything it really really motivates me to get my hands on a cz sp 01 which I wish I was tracking before all this nonsense lol
