Jericho 9mm

WHOA WHOA

Where are you getting Baby Eagles with frame mounted safeties and ###y grips?

Is that some kind of voodoo chickenfoot model that only exists in the holy land?

From what I understand those are the more common Israeli versions. There's actually a lot of Jericho variants across the globe. There's some US made ones too that might have the frame-safety.

as for the steel vrs plastic frames .
I just like the solid feel and weight of the steel .
I have no doubt it will last for several generations in my family, durability wise .
If you want a plastic gun get glock .
When it comes to plastic simpler is best and glock is the most simplistic

Foxhollow, there is a, what would seem to be a minty 9mm steel version in the ee for $525 shipped, private sale, so you save the tax aswell.
seller is cb350racer

I have the 9 and the 45. Both steel units

In my opinion, one of the best kept secrets in handguns. Great, quality guns

I just purchased mine in chrome 9mm....Im totally in love with it. Also lucky that is made in Israel...The new batch is going to be made in the states..
Great grip and feel. Built to last forever...Amazing follow up shots on target. Accurate as hell...If you cant handle an all steel gun frame weight then you really need to go to the Gym.

I own a Jericho 941/Baby Eagle, steel frame, in 9mm. First restricted firearm I purchased and it is the last firearm I'd sell. Built like a tank, tool less field strip, and shoots anything you put in it. Upgraded the grip to the hogue wrap around as I didn't like the plastic. Plus with the 9mm the 40cal mags hold 14 9mm legally :D
PS I found an app with a detailed dissassembly of this firearm, only 99cents on the iPhone.

If I could find one with a frame-mounted safety, I would likely snap-purchase it. I love the gun, but I don't like slide safeties. If that's not a big deal for you they're really great guns and amazingly priced to boot.

As far as I know IWI doesn't export those to North America anymore, maybe someday they will again.

I purchased the all steel IWI 9mm Jericho a year ago and have loved it since I first pulled the trigger. I prefer steel to polymer frames as I like the weight, though I did get to try the polymer version of the 9mm Jericho a few weeks ago and liked it even more than my girls S&W MP 9mm. It is very very accurate and when I think that I was about to drop a chunk more cash for a CZ Shadow( which I still love) I am a very happy chap.

I bought a steel frame one in 9mm for the wife to shoot as she does not like my 1911 A1 C. I have to admit I like the nose weight of it, it keeps the barrel down compared to my friends P99. But they are both fun to shoot, I am currently looking at a Glock 17, as I am invested in my JR carbine and it uses the same ammo and mags.

I think I might go and try one at one of the gun ranges around here before I drop the cash for it.

I have heard that, like a camaro, you either like them or hate them, nothing inbetween.

Rifleman.

Consider the CZ75, CZ85 etc - they are the basically same gun I've been told (plus you can see it when you look at them) and have frame mounted safeties.

The ergonomics are not the same on CZ75, the baby eagle fits the hand better and has a nicer trigger. It's more accurate with the polygonal rifling, although I prefer conventional because I like to reload cast lead.
