Marstar has an opening for the right person, one of our longer term employees has given notice that he is moving on (love) and moving to another city....

We are looking for someone who, when required, can operate heavy equipment, fork lift etc....

A person who can do welding, stick, MIG, TIG, etc....

This person should have a goood knowledge of military surplus, firearms, accessories, ammunition, etc...

Good knowledge of computers, and be able to communicate using the various programs we use....

Must have a valid PAL and able to pass a Federal Government security check.

IF you think you qualify drop me a note

john@marstar.ca

John

Best of luck to your employee.

Also, on that note: I wish I didn't live in Winnipeg now

I'd send my resume as it meets all of those requirements, but I think I know the answer already lol.

If John promises to send me a hilarious rejection email, I'll do it for a laugh. I want it timed how fast it goes from inbox to delete folder.

Is knowing how to properly post a link a requirement? If so John, I'm sorry, but...

to bad for the job skills required the pay will be sh!t, selling guns is not a high paying job, it has discounts & some perks but that's it. I'm glad I left the business.

"GLAD YOU LEFT THE BUSINESS" ?? What business did you own ??

I love well informed and positive posts....
Its interesting that you mention low pay, while this is an issue in many areas it certainly does NOT apply at Marstar.... The only way to keep good people is to pay them well for their abilities and knowledge....
How do you come by this information ??
Many people at Marstar have been with us for a number of years....
Our employees are WELL compensated, they get 10 days off (paid) for Christmas, 1 week off (paid) at Easter, two weeks vacation (paid) after the first year, Christmas bonus, lets not forget that all goods purchased here are at company cost.... Just to mention a few....

May I suggest you inform yourself BEFORE making such rash statements

Now I want to move out of province and work for Marstar. I work for one of the biggest companies in Canada and we can't even get proper yearly wage adjustments...we're supposed to be happy with what we have. Times are tough and all, yadda, yadda, yadda.
