My friend and myself came up with the idea to do a little restoration on some old guns and after brainstorming for a bit we figured John deere would be an interesting thing to try on this old Lakefield Mark I. Wutcha think?

You got that right. When we needed parts for our John Deere B restoration parts form JD were crazy expensive. Sell the farm to pay for parts.

Yep and if you painted it Cat yeller.........it would of jumped the price
another zero........ $14,500.00.....

I'd lean more to the Massey-Harris scheme myself. In my neighbourhood there were John Deer folks and Massey-Harris folks. Like Ford people and Chevy people.
