Thought there might be some interest here. Pay stubs from someone who was employed by the John Inglis Co. Limited, during the mid-war years.
He may have helped build some of your guns.
I don't know if this fellow was a relative of NFA's Dave, but the surname is the same.
Funny to note that deductions were proportionate then, as they are now. I imagine these are weekly stubs/envelopes, but they do not indicate how many hours worked. Although there was only approx. 15% taxes, and even a "Community Chest", straight out of Monopoly.
One stub dated Feb 28, 1943, one dated ? 25, 1942.
