But I totally agree the JMB was a brilliant designer of devices that stand the test of time. Our own Canadian military are so impressed that we still have his ( or Diodonne Sauve's) pistol design as our issue sidearm.

I personally am a Mannlicher fan, he died too early, but many of his designs/concepts were exceptionally influential where even if they didn't become a adopted design they were a starting point for later ones.

I am not sure but didn't JMB design the Ithaca Model 37 Pump Action Shotgun. I thought I read that somewhere a long time ago. I am sure someone here will know for sure.
