Having your well insured 6.4 stolen is probably a best cast scenario.

Was just about to bring out the big guns and mention Schultz £
& Larson to lure Johnn out of hiding.

:d:d:dGot the three S&L's I want, that match the cartridges shown on the red cover of the old Norma reloading manual.
- A model 68DL in 7x61S&H
- A model 65DL in 308NM
- A model 68DEL in 358NM

They gartzs yer 7.3 too way back when.

A couple of photos coming your way via E-mail. One of my truck that was:mad: 'borrowed' and the other of what I've:) replaced it with. At my age and to meet my needs these days, the Ranger should do me well.

Great to see you posting Johnn

I hope your health issues are under control.

For what it's worth there is a reason Ford Diesels are often used as "bait cars" here in the interior. Very easy to steal and the thieves have a ready market for used parts that are very expensive on the open market.

Thanks guys,:) one and all. Feels good to be getting back into the swing of things. Health issues are being firmly held in check. As for the truck issue, over and done with and what I now have fits my needs nicely.
With my age factor, I had been giving some consideration to thinning 'things' out and downsizing some of what's 'in the safe'. However, a site member suggested not to. His take was I have an assortment of decent quality hunting rifles, hunting shotguns and handguns that I've accumulated over the years. Use them, play with them and when the time comes, let your kids worry about them.;) That's now my 'plan'.

My diesel is a 7.3. ICBC paid for a engine immobilizer, square juice box thingy.

Apparently, F350 are one of the top stolen vehicles. Steal a big vehicle, drive it through the door of a liquor store. Load up with thousands in booze to a different vehicle, leave the stolen one in the middle of the store. Gone in minutes, you know how that goes, when you need a cop now, they're years away.

Gartzs yer email with the photos.
The wee kritter gonnah be easzeer awn yer wallit come oil changes.

They tried gitt'in mine once.
Truck bin sitt'in fur a few months.
Batteries were low and I git me arse owt there as the glow plug light was jest gewn awff.
Had me buddy wid moi.
They must'uff'eard me as they wuss gawn.

Cawpers showed up tewt sweet.
They told me a steering wheel club works the best.
Said the tards will move awnto the next one rather than fight the club.

Your truck was stolen? That effing sucks.

Even if you never see your truck again i hope the thieves get what's coming to them. You may never see or hear of it but karma is always a biatch and guys like that usually get what they deserve. Hope you feel better soon, too.

Bottem line. Two days after the theft, the 'individual' in question was apprehended down island close to Victoria. His punishment, six months probation:rolleyes:. But, the icing on the cake, three years prior, he stole a vehicle up island in the Courtney area. After being chased by police he had an accident, smashed that vehicle, was apprehended and found to be in possession of a loaded firearm. Gives one a lot of faith in the justice system doesn't it:mad:. Where's Dirty Harry when you need him?
