hello everybody
Just wanted to let you all in my excitement, my first Ar15 arrived in the mail today courtesy of Wolverine supplies, its a Bushmaster.
Since I am a rookie with AR's I was hoping for some input, should I give it a good cleaning, ie field strip it and clean all the parts in case there is any shipping oil on this and would be bad to fire first, I am going to clean the barrel but wondering if I should go further?
also it there a "gentle" way to let the action close after clearing the rifle, as I do not like the clunk when I release the bolt and it slams shut.
thank you all for your input and hope to see you on the range
