Hey,
So Ive lucked out and joined the Tavor club. Have yet to take it out but i have a few questions:
1.) The 2 o'clock rail is loose. Its got the forward to backwards play as typically reported. What are people replacing it with for a metal rail? MLOK? Metal picatinny?
2.) Not a huge fan of these rail mounted BUIS. Who makes them? What are they worth? I slipped them off and threw on some magpul BUIS. They allign nicer but it still feels redundant since there is a BUIS built in. How are they for quality/accuracy? Im thinking i may take the magpul off and put my trust in the built in rail ones (Im assuming thr IDF rely on these same BUIS in the field)
3.) What optics are guys recommending? I run aimpoints on my AR's. I was thinking of running another aimpoint. However, this is a bush gun. Maybe i should go with a magnified optic? Maybe something cool in 1-4? I was thinking maybe Elcan spectre or something from the 5.56 line of some nice scopes. Something cool like the Leupold mk4 cq/t.
While im a fan of red dots on ranges and courses i think i need something more balanced for crown land.
