Jolly Green M14

I picked up a couple of GI stocks, did some of Skullboys mods and had intended to paint one in a Vietnam tiger stripe pattern, but I think I may have to start over - I think this is just a little too green

I vote for too green...that is like car green or lunch box green....not rifle green....

Add some irregular flat black splotches of the same brand of paint and your cucumber, I mean, rifle will look fine. I'd be putting a bit of flat black spray paint at an angle, lengthwise, on the handguard and forestock. And a smallish patch on either side of the receiver. On the top of the buttstock just aft of the grip.
The purpose of camouflage is to break up the shape. A bit of black on that shade of green will do it.
Be sure and sand it a bit so the next colour will stick.

I really like that green. If you want to take the camo further it is a good base for darker colours. Do some shading with black and grey.(no brown) Good to go. Sweet stock as it is. Let your imagination do the talking. Have fun bro
