Jose Reis (ZEFARM)

From what I found, he passed away on June 10th, aged 56 (unless I found another Jose Reis). My most sincere condolences to family and friends,

Lou

I knew Jose for the better part of 35 years. Straight guy.
Had many dealings with him, one of the few who came to our warehouse....

I am very saddened to hear that Jose is no longer with us.
As many of you, I purchased a number of (sometimes) hard to find pieces from him.

He was always ready to take phone calls at his residence and I enjoyed talking to him at the local gun show as well as visiting him at his place of business to pick up whatever item I had just purchased.

Always friendly, straight forward, honest, and a knowledgeable fellow in his field.

I will miss him.

Jose used to surprise me with some of the stuff he had.
-A phosphate finished well marked MP44 magazine. (Shown below as the extra magazine.)

When I was looking for 20 round and 30 round well marked magazines for the Thompson smg to fill up a magazine pouch…Jose had them.

-The last piece I purchased from Jose was a Femaru M1937 (P.37 u) “jhv” 43
with a Luft marked holster and two matching magazines…..a very nice difficult rig to find.
