Spent a few days down south and had the time to hit the GUN STORE in Vegas. Shot the SAW, the MP5 and an AK. Good times. Me and 3 buddies had a blast dropping a K on the range. My first time with full autos. :D

Shot the movie sideways and can't seem to flip it on photobucket. Any help?

Seeing that wall of godliness I wouldn't know where to start. In the end if I had to choose one off that wall it would be the AK, just to say "yeah I shot an AK in Vegas, what have you done recently?"

Lucky guy!!!

What's with what looks like an upside down Bin Laden target??

Never been but I am told they tell you to aim at the head and the recoil will bring the gun up to center mass. Also, hanging the targets upside down is more political correct then right ways up, but who gives a ####.

In the video while shooting the SAW it seems very windy down range. Perhaps all the gasses going fowards or a massively powerful air system?

I am refering to the first pic in this thread, top left image, that target is upside down, I don't give a #### either but I wondered if it had some significance, kind of like upside down flag.

The air flow is pretty strong, good ventillation. The paper snaps allot as it is hit and the hangers wobble allot also. I shot the clip off. :)

The target is hung upside down for some of the guns because of the climb. Scotty had it right. The SAW vibrated but felt recoil was nil. So the range guy hung the target straight up.

The Gun Store is pretty much the last place I shoot in Vegas, the Las Vegas Gun Range and Firearms Center is much much better place where they treat you like an adult when handling firearms, and don't try and hustle you out the door as much. Customer service is way better as well.

Do they rent F/A as well? Going down in December for g/f's bday and she wants to go shooting.

I agree, I was the "The Gun Store" two years ago and had a very good experience, it was not very busy, shot a few different hand guns and machine guns...........Then I was back in Vegas last week and the place was completely different, you only had a choice of 3 packages, and no choice was was in them I ended up shooting an AK, MP5 and 8.5"barrel 12ga shotty. ( I didn't care about the shotty, got those at home). Plus the treated us like we had never held a gun before, and just rushed us through! Terriable customer service, just a money grab! I won't be going back there!

Yup, I took my wife there to bust her cherry... WAIT!

What I mean is: That was my wife's first time with full auto, too! Gosh, if you shot all of those firearms at one go, you must be far better off financially than me!!

;)

We showed off the vids we took to the wives after we got back to the strip and I know next year there will be 8 shooters instead of 4 (screw the spa). I'm thinking Thompson and M16 next year with a player to be named later.

What do they charge per mag? There is a place in Oregon I dropped in on 2 years ago just because the big sign on their building by I-5 says "Try a Machinegun" or something like that. Fired a thompson because it was the only thing they had I had not fired yet. Came out to a buck a round.

Here is the website for the GUN STORE : http://www.thegunstorelasvegas.com/

You can find some of the prices here. I'd call for current pricing and packages. They may not be current according to the site. We shot what we wanted. Not a package. Buck a round. Money well spent I think these days.

The LVGR west of the the strip is a better set-up than the Gun Store. They even had a Barett M107 there when I was there in April. Fat chance they'll let you shoot it though.

I suppose everything in Vegas has it's price, and for $10,995, you could have .50 cal of heaven. But where would you shoot it? Out in the desert somewhere I guess.
