Has anyone put a flash hider on a JR Carbine? Is there enough "meat" on the barrel to get the barrel threaded?

I am getting a Flash Hider installed... purely for the LCF (and to protect the crown.)
Hey, the US versions of the JR have Flash Hiders, I want one too.

9/16x24 for .40
1/2x28 for 9mm

No real reason for it. just makes it look better ... imo.

There is a bunch of JR carbine owners who installed barrel shrouds on the 9mil's, to balance out to look. ( these just clamp on, no need to thread)
Maybe someone could post a photo.

Those shrouds make the JR look awesome, once I am able to I will definatly be ordering one.

It is your gun, you get to add anything you like to it.

Guess I'm a "cheap plastic #####" too. Yet all mine look great And function too....

Well, gotta go, back to ruining the world

Yes I had one threaded on by Ellwood Epps when first ordering my JR 9mm Carbine, as I knew the slim somewhat long barrel needed a little something to give it that look I was after, they threaded on a flash hider I had not seen in advance and in the end I swapped it out for a slightly different model, however there was no issue due to enough meat on the 9mm barrel of my factory JR Carbine rifle, and with the new flash hider being the type were the bottom is solid, should mean that the Zombies will never see the dust up from firing in a low (to dirt) level position, which is exactly what I was going for, well that and it looks so much cooler, (makes the barrel look shorter/tougher) & (sorry no photo available yet), besides when you pay good money for a new firearm you might as well build it exactly how YOU WANT IT, not how others want it!

Why would you need a flash hider? the powder is completely burnt by the time the slug exits the barrel and there is no flash

Oh! You're one of those!

Yes unlike shooters who install flashlights, LRT scopes, lasers, slings & VHG and wear plate carriers / tac gear all for use at the local range .... all YOUR firearms are plain and OEM only?

Seriously get a grip! If that's what float's the OP's boat then fill your boots. Enjoy the sport to the fullest and if that's what helps you enjoy your firearm then so be it.
