While I appreciate a lever action carbine as much as the next guy they are in no way comparable firearms to a JR in .44 Mag.

Ummmm.... MY Ruger .44 has detachable mags and I've never had a FTF or failure of any other kind either..... Wow.

A sweet rifle indeed. You rocking gong at 160yd was an eye opener too.
But the best? ... all that tossed lost brass, that has been feeding the .44 antique ever since!.

Yes, this is true. My point was not that one was better than the other, but that a small, light black rifle semi-auto with a detachable box mag and a lever action carbine with a fixed tube mag are very different firearms.
