Hey guys, I was disassembling my JR carbine 9mm today, when I noticed that the barrel wiggled side to side a bit. I twisted it a hair and pulled slightly on the barrel and it came right off. Is this supposed to do this?

It doesn't seem to have one. Where is t located? I took the fore end off and removed the whole bolt assembly.

I was under the impression JR carbines are like AR15. If its not on the receiver then its still attached to the forearm. So you remove that then YES the barrel coming out is normal.

Yup just figured that out. But I was looking at a older diagram of a gen 1 jr (I have the gen 2) and one of the parts in the parts list is a barrel nut. My forarm actually holds the barrel in and doesn't allow it to move.
