JR carbine help

I recently changed out the grip on my JR carbine and a spring fell out of it. I didn't see where the spring came from but now my safety doesn't work properly. Help Me!

Wouldn't be at all surprised if the safety detent and safety detent spring aren't retained by the grip.
Take the grip off again, with the carbine upside down, and see if there is a little hole running up toward the safety.

Same as an AR15 . There will be a detent & spring under the grip . The detent holds the safety in position .
Don't you have the manual ?

Nope got it used
