JR carbine jamming every 1-3 shots

always try a different mag first, bt ive seen feed ramp issues where it has to be filed a bit and polished.

My friend's is doing the same thing. We tried shortening the buffer spring (JR's request) and now they are sending a shipping label so he can send it back to them. Their claim was "we have never heard of this problem before" lol. Is yours .45 ACP?

Mine does the same thing with reloads it is fine with factory ammo, haven't been able to figure out why, it is a 9mm

We tried everything in the .45. Factory, reload, round point, lead, norinco magazines, JR magazine, dlask magazine, cutting the buffer spring, polishing the feed ramp, etc. Their customer service is really good however, call them up and tell them the problem. they may say "we've never heard of this problem before" though :)

When I first bought my JRC, I thought it was a piece of sh!t and did the same things you guys are experiencing. I polished the feed ramp and took everything out - scrubbed it, doused grease all over every metal part, bolt, inside of the receiver, etc and now it's flawless. The bolt needs to travel effortlessly.

A lot of the problems seen with these are due to the lubrication level or if it's dirty. Run it wet as hell and your problems may be solved. Try this and if it doesn't work, you have a mechanical problem. I find these get really dirty, fast. When clean and wet mine runs like a swiss timepiece.

I bought a KCI mag and it was junk. If that's what you are using, throw it in the garbage.

I've had issues with the KCI stick mags. Feed lips are too far apart and the round will point up out of the mag when slammed into the gun with the bolt locked back. No issues with factory Glock mags at all.

I have the 45 and its been a work in progress, got it off this site, anyway working with factory and to date cut spring, changed tube buffer and spring, replaced feed ramp, it feeds 4 out of 5 but will not #### the gun for the next round, seems the factory now have a new barrel design.

funny thing if I load a single round it cocks, real pain but now waiting on a trigger assembly

I have a JRC and a TDC... TDC is a better quality firearm. Not knocking the JRC as I do like mine, but if you want an 'out of the box' carbine that just plain works all the time = Thureon Defense. You are definitely jumping up in price though. (Not looking for a fight here, just my opinion as I own both).

Mines a 9mm.

Not cleaned it yet.

Several hundred rounds and no malfunctions. Nice gun, I like it.

I'd suspect the magazine if there are FTF's, of course you may just have a lemon.
